Spending my professional life involved in agriculture, education and youth development I have built my philosophy on leadership with the following pillars.

    Ensuring schools have excellent teachers and administrators and they are equipped with the resources they need to prepare the next generation of leaders

  • Strengthening Agriculture
    Supporting South Dakota’s agriculture industry, which drives the state’s economy and impacts every sector - I believe policies should support those who invest in and care for the land, not just those seeking short-term profit or dependence on government programs

  • Encouraging Innovation and Entrepreneurship
    Welcoming new ideas that strengthen local communities through entrepreneurship, innovation and forward-thinking

  • Building Strong Communities
    Promoting economic development and strengthening infrastructure while supporting families and individuals who invest in local businesses

  • Promoting Service and Family Values
    Encouraging a culture of service and strong families - South Dakota was built by people who give back to their communities and make family a priority - I believe those principles must remain central to the state’s future.
