Meet Wyatt

I'm a South Dakota rancher and educator seeking to take my common sense vision to the South Dakota House of Representatives.

I’m a graduate of South Dakota State University (SDSU), and bring experience as a rancher, educator and leader in the Future Farmers of America (FFA) organization. I will represent the people of District 21, which includes the counties of Aurora, Charles Mix, Douglas, Gregory and Tripp.

I believe in honoring the people who built South Dakota while ensuring the state’s values continue for future generations.

“Leadership requires the ability to see the big picture and recognize future opportunities while staying grounded in faith, respecting those who came before us and taking seriously our responsibility to carry that legacy forward,” DeJong said. “My priorities include using education to grow leaders, strengthen the state’s ag industry and promoting new ideas that support local communities, service and family values.”

My wife Zana and I are parents of two young sons and bring a strong Christian faith, deep work ethic and commitment to develop the next generation of leaders. I believe South Dakotans should have the freedom to pursue their dreams, connect with neighbors, accept accountability and work together to strengthen our communities and way of life.

Thank you for your support!
